It's not the Spanish Stirrup. That's different. This one is at Stirrup and Stagecoach.

It wasn't what I was expecting, a museum, but that's okay.

The owner of this rock shop was a pretty cool guy. He's very chatty, friendly, and he's knowledgeable about the geology of the area. He had some amazing specimens and could tell you where they came from and how they were all formed. Most things were available for purchase at a reasonable price.

Small little place with lots of geodes and thunder eggs for sale. Most of the museum pieces were moved to the museum in town, just the ones for sale are left. Shopkeeper is a riot, and knows everything about the rocks in his collection. I'd call this a quick stop more than a "museum"
